Try using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system. Restart the computer when it's done.
The application is compatible with Windows 7, Vista, XP Pro, XP Home, 2008 and 2008 R2 Server, 2003 Server, and 2000 in 32 bit or 64 bit Editions. This application has been reported as being infected and very hard to remove from a computer. Use another tool instead called Driver Magician.
go to RUN -> TYPE regedit -> opens Registry Editor Go to Edit -> find -> type Driver Detective it scans and stops at an entry called Driver Detective -> Right Click delete Press F3 finds the next entry
go on deleting all the entries until its shows no more
Then go to Add remove Programs and Uninstall the Software ..........
