Its latest update 9.0 doesn't run on my PC as I click on the icon to start the program it freezes and crashes instantly. And why does it detect whether my Windows genuine or not. Right now I have uninstalled it because I has no other choice. It means waste of money and time!
PC Headquarters' Detective Driver does not do what it claims. Right at the start it was confusing about the cost of the download, tricking you into a two year subscription. It downloaded ok and ran a scan ok. but after a couple months and a few upgrades it started to download Driver updates that I didn't have installed on my PC. Then the driver updates it did weren't new, somehow the dates are wrong because my systems update manager kept reupdating Driver Detective's driver updates. Soon I had a long list of driver updates that coundn't be used. So it became useless to use the Detective Driver program. Their customer service is non existant. The 800 # is a recording, E-mails only. The last email response I got stated that refunds are only to be requested before 60 days has expired. So if you have just purchased this program, ask for your refund now before you find out it dosen't work.
I agree 100% this program is junk errors all the time and gives you bad drivers all the time now I tried to upgrade to 7 and my driver detective program says no upgrade available and i have like 6.4 ...so if you dont have this program dont get it ...IT's JUNK
Where is customer service? This came up on my search for sound, and IT doesn't do anything at all. and where is the customer service phone number, I WANT A REFUND
I find this program worse than useless as it downloads all the wrong drivers and then my PC crashes, if I check the drivers again a week later the same ones reappear
